BBQ lamb chops recipe

I've already been to a few BBQ parties hosted by friends and family this summer and I'm looking forward to more of these parties in the coming weeks once the school holidays begin. Everyone loves BBQ and there is so much we can plan, but eventually have to short list a few items as it's not possible to include everything.

The tender meaty lamb chops marinated with different spices are really flavourful and something everyone enjoys at a BBQ party. Moreover, they also make a perfect starter for any dinner party or festive season too, and that's the reason why I decided to share the recipe here. Moreover, since its festival season, Lamb Try it, Love it will be at Kendal Calling festival that will been organised at the Lake District from Thursday 25th July till Sunday 28th July, they’ll also be handing out delicious free samples of lamb classics and bringing the great tastes of lamb to the festival.

The Major Ingredient - The Lamb!

Being a versatile ingredient, lamb is loved by people from all cultures and walks of life, especially because of the numerous festive recipes that can be created by using different cuts of lamb making it a perfect ingredient for every day meals or for special occasions.

Lamb Try it, Love it

The EU funded Lamb Try it, Love it campaign has enabled people to discover the unique flavours of lamb at their convenience. The Lamb Chops recipe is a popular protein-packed meaty food, perfect for special occasions. The European farms produce premium and high quality European lamb using sustainable practices, and the contribution made to the local economies by the farmers for producing the best meat for the consumers is praise worthy as there's nothing like fresh and tender lamb. Thus, making it an absolutely exciting ingredient to use in the kitchen while cooking.

Variety of Cuts of Lamb

I wouldn't hesitate in defining lamb as a fantastic ingredient, because it can't just be used for one all time favourite dish i.e. lamb chops served with mashed potatoes, but can also be used in lots of different recipes and in a variety of cuisines. Even by using the economical cuts of lamb, one can easily produce incredible lamb dishes. There are lots of different cuts of lamb - chops, rump, leg, shank, breast, chop, loin rack, neck and shoulder. Lots of everyday meals can be prepared using lamb as an ingredient in just 30 minutes, and lamb is not just easily available and affordable, but full of flavour too!

Health Benefits of Lamb

Amentioned earlier, high quality lamb is packed with proteins and is very healthy enabling the consumers to get all the essential nutrients, more importantly the 7 vitamins and minerals including vitamin B12 and niacin that leads to a healthy lifestyle. Once you try it, you're definitely going to love it! For more information on lamb and the lamb try it, love it campaign.

Cover the dish with a cling film and refrigerate it for at least 3-6 hours, or preferably overnight.
For the BBQ, place the lamb chops on the grill and cook for 20-25 minutes depending on how you like your meat!
