Celebrate this Eid with Muslim Homeware

Eid has always been a time which I always look forward to, ever since my childhood. It's been however, quite a few years since I've last celebrated Eid with family and celebrating it away from the loved ones is a different feeling. In the part of the world where I'm currently living, I don't really have any friends or even many Muslims, let alone family! So, giving the concept of Eid, our family traditions and culture to BabyN' has become slightly difficult until and unless I travel to the Muslim populated areas in another city. I am however, glad that the Muslim brands intruding nowadays are a great help in making these special occasions lively and memorable.

Muslim Homeware, a new Muslim brand mainly focusing on products for Muslim festivals such as Eid and Ramadan, offers an impressive range of Eid and home decor items, toys and games for children and party decorations. These include block letters, prayer mats for children, toys such as Arabic puzzles and handmade dolls, and party decoration includes balloons, buntings, badges, banners, cards and gift boxes, lighting, tableware and hanging decorations.

Eid decorations, perfect for the house are their word blocks - mirrored and wooden. These come in colours green, silver, golden and white and are available for the words - Alhamdullilah Eid, Hajj, Ramadan and Mubarak. The presents such as puzzles and dolls are for both boys and girls, and make great presents for Islamic occasions and festivals such as Eid.

I really love the wooden word block saying Alhamdullilah (£15), that you can see in the photo above and I've placed it on a shelf at the entrance of my house. There is a black wrought iron mirror hanging above it, and a candle stand that compliments with it well. The silver glitter on the block looks great at all times, both during the day and at night. However, just make sure not to touch it frequently, as the glitter sticks to the hand. When the package arrived, I had no idea about the size as it isn't mentioned on the website but was really impressed to see a decent sized product.

The Arabic wooden puzzle with moving letters (£12) seen below, is extra large (40cm x 30cm), is interactive as it has moving puzzles that also builds eye as well as hand co-ordination. However, since this is in Arabic, and I'm not a native Arabic speaker, I really don't know about what the words and have to Google to find them. Would have been great if a small brochure print would have been included for assistance for non-Arabic speakers.

Eid buntings work so well to create an Eid environment at the house. I always display buntings on Islamic occasions in my living room, so we get to see it whenever we are there. This Eid Mubarak party flag (£4.99) includes ten flags on a golden string (Height: 23 cm & Width: 280 cm) and cover quite a decent space on the wall.

The Eid fairy lights (£10) are BabyN's favourite and he keeps them lit all the time, when he is awake! They are 5m in length, great for indoor use and comes with a plug required within the UK. These lights can be lit in three settings and if you've seen my Insta stories on Instagram, you may know. You can follow me on Instagram on my handle, @blogsbyfa

The products from Muslim Homeware can be ordered online, and the eligible products on all UK orders receive FREE delivery. Otherwise, you can also collect your order from their office in Leicestershire. For 10% off on your order, make sure to use the code below.
