Cadbury World - Birmingham

One of the most popular visitor attractions for children located in Bournville (Birmingham), Cadbury World features a self-guided exhibition tour along with many other activities and is run by the Cadbury chocolate company. Opened on Cadbury's Bournville manufacturing site on the 14th of August in 1990 by Morgan Anderson, Cadbury World in Bournville has expanded and developed a lot since then, and thus welcomes more than 500,000 visitors each year, and is often termed as Birmingham's largest leisure attractions.

Christmas celebration weekends at Cadbury World started from Saturday, the 17th of November, and take place every Saturday and Sunday until 23rd December. We were lucky enough to attend the first Christmas celebration weekend at Cadbury World and we had an amazing time exploring the attraction and seeing the Santa Show & the Pantomime Show! Also, there's lots of other Christmas entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Cadbury World Cafe

Since we had been on the road since a few hours, we decided to eat at the Cadbury Cafe before exploring the attraction. The cafe serves  sandwiches and cake as well as a wide variety of hot meals and drinks. The best thing is that it's not even necessary to purchase the ticket to Cadbury World to eat at the cafe so we can always go there again when we're in Birmingham next time. We got Rocky Road which tasted absolutely delicious and a hot coffee to go with it.

We started off with the 4D cinema, where we got to see the Cadbury characters on an adventurous journey. It was a great experience diving into a bowl of liquid Cadbury Dairy Milk, riding the Crunchie Rollercoaster and experiencing Cadbury Creme Egg airship along with the motion skills as the chair moved.

Christmas Celebration Entertainment - Santa & Pantomime Show

Since the Christmas Celebration Weekends have begun at Cadbury World in Birmingham (Nov 17 - Dec 16), we couldn't miss seeing the fabulous Santa Show and the Pantaomime. It was a lovely surprise for BabyN' receiving an early Christmas present after the Santa Show and he was really excited to see what was inside the box. Also, the Pantomime was brilliantly performed by all the characters and all the kids sitting in the marquee seemed extremely thrilled!
