Apple on Toast

1 sliced apple (skin removed)
1 egg
Milk (a splash)
Bread (2 slices)


Fry slices of an apple in butter until they turn slightly golden. Add some sugar and heat until caramelised. Beat an egg with a splash of milk and some sugar if desired. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture until the eggs soak in. Fry the bread slices until golden and cooked. Top the cooked slices with the cooked apple slices and the syrup.

Serves 1
