Bun kabab

Bun Kebab, a popular street food of the Indian subcontinent is a delicious sandwich sold at roadside stalls and in restaurants. I am sharing the recipe of my version of the Bun Kebabs that my husband loved and I am sure you all will love it too!

Ingredients:
Bun - 2 normal sized
Shami Kabab (Beef Patty) - 2
Egg - 1 beaten with salt
Sauces - Chilli Ketchup, Coriander Sauce (Green Chutney), Tamarind Sauce (Imli ki chutney)
Onion - 1 medium sliced
Cucumber - 1 inch sliced

Method:
Follow the step by step recipe with pictures.

Bun kabab
This is a pack of buns - Use 2 for if you need 2 servings
Cut the bun from the centre and warm (seekh len) both sides on a hot frying pan
Slice a small sized onion and 1 inch cucumber
Bun kabab
Beat an egg and add a small pinch of salt in it
Add 1 tablespoon cooking oil in a frying pan and, fry the egg
Bun kabab
Fry Shami Kababs (2 should be good for 2 servings)
I made my Kebabs at home but you can buy them from an Asian shop
These are the sauces I used but its up to you if you wish to exclude any
(Chilli Ketchup,
Coriander Sauce, Tamarind Sauce)

Once everything required to be cooked is ready, place the bun on the kitchen slab and apply some Coriander Sauce on it. Place a shami kabab, some sliced onion, cucumber, a portion of the egg and top it up with the chilli and tamarind sauce. Place the other half of the bun on the top and warm it up for a minute on a hot pan and bingo! The YUMMY Bun Kebabs are ready to eat! Serve with fries and some extra sauces on the side, if you want an extra spicy version.
