About Cambridge:
The city of Cambridge, a university city and the county town of Cambridgeshire is located in England, on the River Cam and is about 50 miles, north of London. The city is very popular among the tourists because of the presence of University of Cambridge that was founded in 1209 and has 31 colleges and 100 academic departments.

The city is popular because of University of Cambridge and the most known colleges that come under it are the King's, St. John's,Trinity, Queen's and Emmanuel College.

Besides this, there is River Cam where tourists can be seen punting (punt is a flat-bottomed boat with a square-cut bow, designed for use in small rivers or other shallow water. Punting refers to boating in a punt). Due to the influx of tourists, there are a lot of people who offer their sightseeing services to tourists. In one hour, there were more than 4 people who asked us if we require their sightseeing services.

It is best to see the city on foot or on a bicycle. This is because the narrow streets create a lot of traffic congestion that leads to traffic delays and the parking issue. The city has provided paid parking spots that charge from 2-3 pounds for an hour.

Many tourists can be seen walking in the city and most of happen to be Chinese. One can also see students making documentaries in the parks.

Where to eat?
There are lots of dine-in and takeaway restaurants present in the city, both high-end as well as reasonably priced ones and most of them are quite busy too. Luckily, there are also some options of Halal food available for the Muslim tourists. This includes both fast-food and South Asian food.

What to wear?
The weather of Cambridge is quite similar to the weather that exists in the United Kingdom. However, the rain pattern differed slightly from that of the North East. It started off with light rain and then a bit heavy rain for a very short time duration and all of a sudden it turned out to be sunny, very sunny! It would be best to carry a light rain coat or to wear a light water-proof jacket.

Shopping:
Besides the restaurants, there are also many other shops that sell bakery items and candy shops. Both type of shops were busy too especially the candy shop which actually had a small queue inside the shop at the counter.

There are also shops that sell clothes with the logo of University of Cambridge on them but these were not much popular among the tourists although my eye caught many people on the streets who wore hoodies and shirts with the universality logo and name on it (they might be students).
