After successfully operating at the other locations London, Smoky Boys has now opened at the Boxpark in Wembley that opened it's doors to London in December 2018. The place is perfect for a casual dining experience with friends or family, and it opens from 11:00 am till 11:00 pm. Since Boxpark (Wembley) has quite a few options to suit the needs of all the diners, the place also has a few Halal options including Smoky Boys. This Boxpark site is the third one in London after Shoreditch and Croydon, and located in the heart of Wembley it has quickly gained popularity by offering more than 20 food and beverage options.

The restaurant highlights the idea of ‘great meat and big flavours’ which is much apparent with their high-quality burger and barbecue. The tagline is pretty much what the restaurant has to offer to its diners and to ensure & fulfil this promise, Smoky Boys use the best British lamb, chicken and premium cuts of beef to gourmet grills. The kitchen uses simple ingredients to curate the perfect dish so well that the flavors become a fond memory and you just want to come back for more again and again!

For the starters, we tried Char Grilled Shrimps and the BBQ and Peri Peri wings. We really enjoyed the starters, the shrimps were brilliant and all the food seemed to have been freshly prepared for us. Smoky Boys provides dips and sauces to go with the meal as well, but we didn't feel the need, so didn't get them. We also got a quarter chicken with the lemon and thyme flavouring that had a superb combination of mild spices and distinct flavours, perfect for those who do not prefer eating spicy food or for little kids.

To wash down the food, we got an apple juice for BabyN', while I got a mango milkshake for myself. I personally love mangoes and the milkshake I tried was great! I prefer thick shakes and this was exactly what I was looking for. We also ventured into trying the ginger beer and as the name suggests, it had a gingery flavour which was more dominating.

Smoky Boys offers a host of their signature burgers at Boxpark Wembley and the ones that we tried were Smoky Bad Boy and Smoky Bacon. Smoky Bad Boy contained a beef patty, on top of baby gem lettuce, some mature cheddar & American cheese, jalapeƱos, fresh chillies for a kick and the Bad Boy Suicide sauce, all placed together on a brioche bun. The latter contained a beef patty, maple glazed oak turkey bacon, grilled onions, mature cheddar and American cheese and the restaurant's special Smoky Boys sauce, everything neatly placed in a glossy brioche bun. Both the burgers tasted great!

Smoky Boys is the "fastest growing quality Halal burger chain in the UK". It has restaurants in Watford, Hounslow (opens till 4:00 am), Stevenage, Amersham and Boxpark Wembley, and besides these current restaurant sites, it has more in various stages of pre-opening: Park Royal, Hemel Hempstead and an undisclosed site in central London. All restaurants operating currently have a different menu and their timings are different. Some restaurants offer more options and might be better for family friendly dining, Smoky Boys Watford being one of them.
